how come i cant use the chat anymore i keep getting this message"[22:19] Connecting...
[22:19] Unable to connect : java.net.ConnectException : Connection timed out: connect"
do i have to download the java program?
or what do i have to do?

Java is a huge resource hog anyway. You should probably just download an IRC client instead. The most popular one for Windows is called mIRC.
